Kells Heritage Weekend – 24th & 25th May, 2014

2014 is the 1200th anniversary of the rebuilding of the monastic town of Kells, and to help us ensure the year is celebrated in style we’re making sure that our heritage is available and open to all visitors!

Kells Heritage Weekends celebrates our town’s fantastic Early Christian heritage, royal history and pre-history by endeavouring to make sure that there is access to properties that may often be closed to the public, as well as coordinating tour guides for the town and boglands and woodlands.

Enjoy a weekend of discovery, tours, events and activities which bring to life local history and culture.
